Pediatric Services
I earned my bachelor of science degree in communication disorders from Minot State University, North Dakota, and a master of arts degree in speech and hearing sciences from Washington State University, Washington. I am Canadian and originally from rural Alberta. I am currently a speech-language pathologist in Alberta, with a license from the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA). I also hold a membership with Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC).
Over my 15+ year career, I have been fortunate to work in health care, with several schools divisions, and have provided services to children with a wide range of ages and needs. I am certified in the Hanen Program® It Takes Two to Talk, Let’s Start Talking © Dr. Megan Hodge, Lidcombe, Pre-Orofacial Rest Posture Program (Pre-ORPP), and am recognized by Apraxia Kids as an Apraxia Kids Intensive Training Participant. My areas of specialized training include the assessment and treatment of Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), and implementation of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) strategies.
I provide speech-language assessments, written reports, consultation, face-to-face therapy, teletherapy, and support to families. I believe family involvement is critical in treatment and I work diligently in collaborating with school partners and community members to build an atmosphere of ‘it takes a village to raise a child’.
When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family. I enjoy family outings like going to the park, biking, swimming, and community events. I also enjoys yoga, live music events, and listening to audio books.

Physical Therapist
Adventure Awaits Pediatric Services
My name is Candra, and I've been providing pediatric physical therapy to kids for over 20 years. When I'm not helping children reach their goals, you can find me sipping a chai latte, enjoying the sunshine (preferably at the beach!) and spending quality time with my loved ones. I am passionate about what I do and dedicated to supporting children (ages 0-18) and their families!
What sets me apart is my unique perspective gained from working in various settings including homes, clinics, schools, preschools, daycares, and community centers. I recognize the interconnectedness of these environments and how they impact a child's overall development and growth.
So, if you are looking for a pediatric physical therapist who is experienced, fun, compassionate, and committed to helping your child succeed, look no further! I'd love to get to know you and your family!
Let's work together to help your child gain skills and confidence to move, explore and adventure!
